On Tuesday, Halima shared a distressing video on Instagram, revealing the severity of her illness and how she had been using filters to hide her true appearance.

In the video, she tearfully opened up about her pain, her unwavering faith in divine justice, and the urgent need for financial assistance for her medical expenses.

Halima disclosed that she had been undergoing treatment at a renowned Turkish hospital in Nigeria but was struggling to cover the costs. Her plea for support was accompanied by a heartfelt Quranic recitation, urging Nigerians to lend a helping hand in her time of need.

In response, Saidi Balogun prayed for her healing, assuring her that she would overcome this challenge. “You will surely overcome. Almighty Allah will heal you completely,” he wrote.

Uche Ogbodo also shared an encouraging message, saying, “God got you, Hali,” While others like Emeka Okoye, late Mr. Ibu’s wife Stella Okafor, and many fans flooded her comment section with messages of hope and prayers for her swift recovery.

Halima Abubakar’s ongoing health battle comes on the heels of a turbulent 2024, when she was suspended by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for defamation. .

The actress was accused of making slanderous claims against colleagues and high-profile figures, including allegations of an affair with a prominent individual.

Halima, last year, also apologized to Apostle Johnson Suleman, admitted that her allegations against him were false and had caused harm to his family and ministry.

The brouhaha between Halima and Apostle Suleman first surfaced in 2022 when she accused him of having an affair with her, alleging that the relationship led to serious health complications.
