Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has set tongues wagging online as he publicly throws his support behind controversial singer Naira Marley, despite ongoing criticism against the Marlian Music boss.

In a recent video shared on his Instagram page, Edochie was seen energetically vibing to Naira Marley’s new trending song, showcasing his excitement while flaunting his jewelry.

Expressing his admiration for the track, the actor questioned the singer about what made the song so captivating and urged him to release more hit tracks.

“Naira Marley, wetin you put for this song? The song is maaadddd. Give us more jamz, bro. We dey wait,” Yul wrote in the caption of his post.

His public display of support comes amid lingering controversy surrounding Naira Marley following the tragic passing of his former signee, Mohbad.

Many Nigerians distanced themselves from the singer in the wake of Mohbad’s death, with some calling for his cancellation.

However, his latest song has gained traction, with several celebrities, including Regina Daniels, grooving to it.

Yul Edochie’s video has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many criticizing his support for the singer despite the controversies surrounding him.
