American singer cum actress Chloe Bailey has broken her silence following the messy online drama between Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje.

It’s no news that Burna Boy is currently trending on social media due to Sophia Egbueje, a socialite’s leaked voice notes claiming the singer promised her a Lamborghini truck but failed to deliver.

The controversy surfaced with a 40-minute leaked audio recording on February 27, 2025, in which Sophia detailed her grievances to a friend. She claims that in 2024, her friend Ama Reginald and Burna Boy’s associate King Manny persuaded her to meet the singer.

Initially reluctant, Sophia was swayed by Burna Boy’s reputation for generosity—such as gifting his ex-girlfriend Stefflon Don a Rolls Royce Cullinan valued at around $500,000.

Sophia alleged that Burna Boy made several promises, including buying her a Lamborghini, but eventually ghosted her and failed to fulfill his promises.

Seemingly responding to the accusations on Friday Feb 28 Burna Boy shared a video which featured a luxury watch while driving his Ferrari and then a private jet.

He then shared a video of himself free-styling. He sang: “I no buy Lambo, is that why you are shouting?”
