Actress cum filmmaker Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has been honoured with the Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.
The actress was at the event which took place at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday night March 16, to receive her award in person.
Toyin Abraham stunned in a glittery dress paired with matching black headgear.
Multiple video clips saw actress before and during the event. She got emotional when her achievements were being listed, prior naming her as the awardee.

The Silverbird Man of the Year Awards is an annual event celebrating individuals who have made remarkable impacts in their respective fields.
On Tuesday, Silverbird announced the recognition in an Instagram post. The award organisers praised Toyin for her outstanding contributions to the Nigerian film industry. The post read:
“Honoring a Trailblazer: Toyin Abraham at Silverbird Man of the Year 2024! 🔥 She’s fearless. She’s dynamic. She’s redefining Nollywood one blockbuster at a time! Toyin Abraham is the epitome of excellence, and we are beyond proud to present her with the Trailblazer Award at the Silverbird Man of the Year Awards 2024.”
The post further highlighted Toyin’s impressive career, referencing her performances in films such as The Ghost and the Tout, Fate of Alakada and Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper.
It also lauded her accomplishments as a producer and filmmaker, emphasising her role in setting new standards in Nollywood through passion, resilience and creativity.
Taking to the comments section, the 42-year-old declared, “I will stand with kings and queens.”
Toyin’s latest film, Alakada: Bad and Boujee, has also achieved a milestone, grossing N134 million in its opening week, and N460 million in January.
While celebrating the film’s milestone, Toyin stated that surpassing her previous records had always been her goal and she was proud to have achieved it.
