American rapper and movie producer Curtis James Jackson better known as 50 Cent, has hinted at making a new movie series on convicted Nigerian fraudster, Ramon Abass, otherwise known as Ray Hushpuppi.
The Music star made this announcement via his verified instagram account on Wednesday, 9th November 2022.
In the post, 50 cent reteirated that the movie would be released soon.
Sharing Hushpuppi’s pictures via his Instagram page, The Rapper wrote:
“For my scammers I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon! GLG A GreenLightGang i don’t miss @ #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv”

His post has sparked reactions from top Nollywood and BBNaija stars as well as his fans and followers, who are anticipating the release of the new movie.
Actor Deyemi Okanlawon took to the comment section to indicate interest in playing Hushpuppi’s character.
Nollywood star Uche Jombo commented on 50Cent’s post, pleaded with the US Rapper to use Nigerian Actors for the lead roles.
BBNaija stars Beauty Tukura and Cross Okechukwu also expressed excitement in the comment section.

This development comes a few days after United States judge, Otis Wright sentenced hushpuppi to 11 years in prison over multiple counts of internet related fraud.
Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months precisely and ordered to pay $1,732,841 (N 762,034,158.16) in restitution to two of his fraud victims.
