Nigerian actress, Adunni Ade has been publicly called out for allegedly owing late actor, Murphy Afolabi.
Eight days after Afolabi’s death, his colleagues put together a 8-day Fidau prayer in his honour, a day set aside for special prayers for the deceased.
Muslim clerics were invited to admonish the living and pray for the dead, with a fundraiser for his kids and family.
During the Fidau Prayer, the late actor’s burial committee called out Adunni Ade, claimed Murphy Afolabi paid the actress N250,000, for a role in his upcoming movie, before his sudden death.
They urged her to refund the money.

A night of tributes organised in Murphy’s honour by his colleagues was held on Sunday, May 21.
Murphy died on May 14 after a fall in the bathroom at his Ikorodu home. He was buried on Monday, May 15 at his home.
