British Super model, Naomi Campbell has taken to social media to drum support for black players on English football team, who were racially attacked by trolls following England’s defeat to Italy in Euro 2020 final game.
Recall that Marcus Rashford, Jordan Sancho and Bukayo Saka were subjected to racial abuses online after they failed to score in a penalty shootout with Italy after the game ended in a 1-1 draw after extra time.
In an Instagram post she shared after England Football Association confirmed that racist trolls attacked Marcus Rashford, Jordan Sancho, and Bukayo Saka online following the team’s loss to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday July 11, Naomi stated that it is disgusting to read and hear such.
Revealing that she is proud of the English team, she urged the black players not to let the ignorant voices in. She advised them to stay on their level and also to dream bigger.
