Asake shout-outs to Olamide despite alleged conflict, seemingly shades Portable in new single [AUDIO]

• Just hours after Portable called out Olamide for supposedly dumping him for Asake, the latter released a new track titled Military and praised the YBNL boss.
• While many were excited with Asake making a shout-out to Olamide, others claimed his words were a jab at Portable.

Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade aka Asake has praised YBNL boss, Olamide, in his newly released track, Military.

Hours ago, Olamide began trending because singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus aka Portable, called him out for allegedly using Asake to tackle him in the industry.

Only hours after Portable’s diss video went viral, the serial-chart topper dropped a new song where he paid tribute to his rumoured ex-record label boss, Olamide. In the audio shared online, Asake on getting to the second verse of the song gave Olamide a shout-out.

Sing-rapping in Yoruba, Asake told his detractors to keep saying whatever they wish while also stating that he just doesn’t feel great when speaking English.

He boasted that he had more money than other stars in his generation and could simply decide to drop a surprise album, emphasizing his desire to do as he wishes.

The part where Asake praised Olamide, drew the attention of several Nigerians. Many of them compared the Grammy-nominated musician to Portable, whose career was also positively impacted by Olamide.
