Tems has revealed the main inspiration behind her ‘Mr Rebel’ song.
Sensational Nigerian songstress and composer Temilade Openiyi, known by her stage name Tems, has revealed at a concert that she got inspired to record ‘Mr Rebel’ after armed robbers attacked her and her mum some time ago.
Tems claimed that the burglar broke into their house brandishing knives and robbed her mother, who was suffering from a broken leg.
The ‘Essence’ hitmaker who got emotional whilst narrating the incident to her fans on stage recalled that her mother gave her approval after she later told her about intentions to release a song with that title.

Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka in an interview with Punch published on Saturday, April 13 said that he has started making plans to relocate from the place. Saka who said he is still traumatized by the event narrated how it happened.
