Dino Melaye has reacted to video of Ghanaian youths rejecting bags of rice from a politician, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapors.

Melaye, who represented Kogi West Senatorial district in the 8th Nigerian National Assembly, asked Nigerian youths to grow and emulate their Ghanaian counterparts.

The controversial politician stated this via his Instagram page while reacting to the now viral video.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that Youths of Damongo town, the capital of West Gonja Municipal, a municipal in the Savannah Region of northern Ghana on Monday, July 19, rejected the bags of rice sent to them by Hon Samuel Abu Jinapors.

The lawmaker, Jinapors is a member of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, and represents their constituency in the country’s parliament.

Melaye wrote: ”Ghanaian youths rejecting free bags of rice from politicians and demanding for job creation. Can this happen in Naijaa? Nigerian youths grow up”
