A fast rising Nigerian disc jockey and brand influencer who goes by the name DJ Michelle, has reportedly passed away.
According to unconfirmed report, she drowned at a popular beach in Lagos where she was swept away by the ocean.
A check through her Instagram page shows that she posted a video of herself at a beach 18 hours ago. Friends says she died shortly after.
The sister of the 21-year-old DJ, who confirmed the incident on her Instagram story, shared a picture of Michelle with the caption, “God why? Ahh Michelle”, accompanied with crying emojis.
Expressing shock, she wrote, ” I’m in shock. God don’t let this be the end. I need a miracle right now. My sister can’t be gone.”
Stella also wrote, “Where’s my sister? Where’s her body? I can’t breathe”.
The aggrieved sister also stated that people watched on while her sister drowned. She wrote, “My sister did not deserve this, I can’t breathe. They all stood there and watched her drown. God where’s my sister?? Where’s her body?”
This suggested that the body of the DJ was yet to be recovered from the beach.
A friend, Fapson wrote; “We spoke about how bright your future was, your goals, your dreams. I can’t believe I am putting RIP next to your name,”
“So young, so talented. My attitude gyal! This hursts man. Sleep well my baby.”
“This life is actually crazy. That’s why you really got to live each day like it’s your last. Do what makes you happy!” she added.
