A young woman identified as Hajara Shehu, has died a day to her wedding at Masaka in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.
Hajara was set to wed on March 9, but sadly, she died on Friday, March 8, after complaining of headache.
The deceased was buried on Sunday, March 13, according to Islamic rites.
A Facebook user, Dahiru Sani wrote: “On a sad Note,
“The leadership of the Nasarawa Western Youth Development Initiative(NAWEYDI)Karu Chapter, wishes to send our condolence to the entire family of our most Dedicated (Treasure) Hajara Shehu, who unfortunately passed away earlier today as a result of brief illness.
“The Demised soul is set to be taken as a wife by tomorrow 9/March/2022 until the coming of this sad news.
Indeed, it a great lost to her family, NAWEYDI and the general public.
“We pray that, May her departed soul rest in perfect peace and May almighty Allah comfort her family to bear this irreplaceable lost.
