Jeff Bezos slams Nigerian professor over her negative comment about Queen Elizabeth

Tech billionaire Jeff Bezos, on Thursday, traded words with Pennsylvania-based Nigerian professor, Uju Anya, over Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-reigning monarch, died Thursday at Balmoral after 70 years on the throne.

Uju, who is an associate professor at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, made some scathing and unbecoming remarks about the British monarch after news broke of her demise.

In a now deleted tweet, she wrote; ”I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating.”

Her vile words about the Queen were slammed by thousands online, including Amazon founder, Bezos.

The Billionaire made reference to her being a lecturer that is supposed to make the world a better place.

Jeff Bezos said: ‘This is someone supposedly working to make the world better? I don’t think so. Wow.’

Reacting, Uju rained insults on the Forbes billionaire, both in Igbo and English language.

Otoro gba gbue gi. May everyone you and your merciless greed have harmed in this world remember you as fondly as I remember my colonizers,” she tweeted.
