It was a heartbreaking sight to behold for a car owner whose car was among the vehicles auctioned by the Lagos state government.

The Lagos State Goverment on Thursday, auctioned at least 134 vehicles impounded for various traffic offences.

The exercise was carried out at the headquarters of Lagos State Taskforce and Special Offences Unit, Bolade Oshodi, Oshodi-Isolo Local Goverment Area.

Residents thronged the venue to bid for various types of vehicles including cars, buses, Sport Utility Vehicles, SUV, among others.

Offenders also arrived with the expectations to bid for their vehicles and get their cars back at an affordable price but they were shocked to meet crowd of businessmen, ready with cash to also bid for the seized vehicles.

A trending clip captured a moment a car owner broke down in tears seeing his car being auctioned for less than N400,000 in his presence.
