Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, has vowed to demolish the London-based Nigerian Port Authority building.
According to earlier reports from WITHIN NIGERIA, on Sunday, Peter Obi and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed appeared live on Channels Television’s Town Hall series to discuss their platforms.
The former governor of Anambra State claimed that his administration would clear up confusion in some government agencies when discussing how to combat inefficiencies and waste, with emphasis on the Nigerian Ports Authority and their management.
Obi claims that the only port administration that keeps a location outside of its home country is the Nigeria Ports Authority (Nigeria).
Buttressing his point, Obi said:
How can NPA have offices & guest houses outside Nigeria (London)? We’re going to dismantle this confusion around Nigerian ports & their management. The reason these basic issues subsist is because many people live off the inefficiencies. We are going to remove them!
A quick check on Google shows the Nigerian Port office in London.

Peter Obi also blamed unnamed government officials for the country’s failure to meet the crude oil sale quota at the international market.
Obi said:
Nigeria is not able to reach the foreign quota of oil sales in the international market because the people in government are enabling the oil theft going on in Nigeria.
