Nigeria is cursed with poor leadership, according to Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN).
The controversial cleric said on Friday during his first sermon at the church’s prayer area that Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with poor leadership.
Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with bad leadership, he said.
Father Mbaka prayed for the congregation’s labor to be fruitful as he also proclaimed 2023 to be the year of favor.
According to a report from WITHIN NIGERIA, the church was shut down on June 3, 2022, as a result of Mbaka’s remarks about Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate.
Mbaka was sent to a monastery and prohibited from making political comments by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
In order to keep an eye on the excesses in the ministry after Mbaka’s suspension, the church converted the ministry into a chaplaincy.
Mbaka was transferred from chaplaincy to the monastery in October 2022 by the Most Reverend Callistus Onaga, the Catholic Bishop of the Enugu Diocese.
As a result, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi was chosen to take over as the new chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy in place of him (Mbaka).
