Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, the Emir of Bauchi, has lost his younger brother, Ibrahim Suleiman Adamu.
On Thursday, he was discovered dead in his home in the Emir’s palace.
He was last seen alive two days ago, according to reports.
According to family members, Ibrahim, who was in his early 30s, was the late Emir Sulaiman Adamu’s last sibling.
On Thursday evening, he was buried according to Islamic customs.
Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, described the deceased’s death as a monumental loss to the entire Bauchi Emirate Council, saying his administration shares the deceased’s pain.
The Governor stated this during a condolence visit to the Emir at his palace on Friday, January 27, where he expressed condolences on behalf of the Bauchi government and citizens.
He requested that Allah grant the late Ibrahim Janna and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
