Activist Harrison Gwamnishu rescues Delta minor locked in toilet by aunt – VIDEO

Popular human right activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has rescued a minor locked up in a toilet by aunty in Delta State.

Harrison shared the disturbing development on Facebook with a video capturing the moment he visited the place to interact with the girl via the toilet window.

While revealing that the incident happened in Ogwashi Uku in Delta, Harrison said that concerned neighbours contacted a journalist, who reached out to him to intervene.

It was gathered that the minor, identified only as Blessing Obuseh, was locked in the toilet without food or water and was allegedly told by her aunt to drink the toilet water when thirsty.

The minor said she wants to stay in the toilet till her aunt comes back home in the evening.

When asked if her aunt’s husband was aware, she told her rescuers that her aunt’s husband was also aware.

Captioning his Facebook post, Harrison, the Labour Party Candidate for Aniocha South Constituency in Delta state, said he has filed a police complaint and urged people residing in the area to join him in the intervention move.

He added that with the swift intervention from the Nigeria Police Ogwashi-Uku and the head DSS, Aniocha South, he and his team were able to gain entry into the apartment of Blessing.
