The Baale of Gbaara community in Lagos State’s Eti-Osa local government area has threatened residents against voting for the Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 election (PDP).
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that a man allegedly said in an audio recording that members of the community who do not vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be barred from engaging in any business or risk losing their business.
The Baale also threatened to expel community members who refused to vote for the APC in the 2023 election.
However, in an interview with LIB, the state police command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the command is aware of the audio recording.
He also stated that the Baale will be summoned to the police station for questioning on Monday, February 13, 2023.
