Ex-Nigeria international, Wilson Oruma has reacted to rumours circulating about him being sick.
Just recently, some reports sighted online alleged that the 1996 Olympic gold medalist had been hospitalised after suffering an unnamed illness.
A trending clip showed a grizzled man who looked like Oruma being administered intravenous fluid on a sick bed.
Addressing the rumors, Oruma shared a video debunking such a report assuring Nigerians that he is hale and hearty.
The Super Eagles legend in the video assured his fans and well wishers he was doing well and thanked them for their unending support and love.
He confirmed the time stamp of the new video and said he is “good and looks cute”.
His words;
“What’s up, my people, Much love. Thank you for everything — every support you have been giving to me,”
“Thank you for the love you are showing to my family. We are healthy and sound. Thank you so much. I never knew people love so much like that. I appreciate and celebrate you all. Thank you so much.
“But as you can see, I am well and healthy. I’m good and look so cute. Today is the second of May and I made this video today just to tell everyone that I am good and I have so much love for them. And I appreciate them so much.”

The Ex-footballer was the top scorer when Nigeria won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1993 in Japan. He was also part of the team that won gold for the country in the football event of the Atlanta ’96 Olympic games.
Oruma bagged 19 caps for the Super Eagles throughout his career which saw him play for FC Sochaux and Olympic Marseille among others.
