A mature Nigerian man left his mother in a tearful state, dealing with public shame, as their fellow residents, via live video, revealed how he was caught stealing within their estate.
The man’s mom was spotted amidst her enraged neighbors, earnestly asking for mercy and simultaneously giving her son a piece of her mind for bringing shame to the family after he was nabbed swiping a water pump and generator set.
Pondering the motives behind his theft, the suspect’s mother revealed that one of his siblings residing overseas consistently sends him funds to cover his needs.
She conveyed that both she and his father readily provide him with money whenever he asks for it. However, despite these options, he opted to engage in theft, tarnishing the reputation of the entire family.
Infuriated residents residing in the Estate could be heard in the video making a solemn promise that the young man would be escorted to the police station and incarcerated for his actions.
