Nigerian army officer accused of assaulting woman at fuel station

A lady identified by her social media handle as a TV host has taken to her online platform to recount a distressing encounter with an unnamed Nigerian Army officer at a fuel station.

The incident, which reportedly occurred a few hours ago, has sparked outrage as the lady described being assaulted and verbally abused by the officer.

According to the account provided by the TV host, the altercation began when she noticed the army officer bypass the queue of waiting customers to get fuel.

Perturbed by this act, she approached the fuel attendant to question why the officer was allowed to cut the line.

In response, the officer allegedly intervened and rebuked her, demanding that she remain quiet as fuel was already being dispensed into his vehicle.

Displeased with the officer’s response, the TV host directed her inquiry back to the fuel attendant, seeking an explanation for the preferential treatment.

This apparently led to an escalation of the situation, with the officer reportedly shouting at her to sit down and asserting his authority.

Undeterred, the lady retorted, requesting the officer to show some respect and humility in the situation.

The situation took a shocking turn when, as described by the TV host, the officer physically attacked her.

Allegedly, he struck her in the chest and shoved her aside. The lady responded with defiance, insisting that she would not be silenced by such aggression.

The TV host’s narrative goes on to detail an even more disturbing escalation.

She claims that the officer retrieved a taser from his car, indicating his intent to use it against her.

While his colleagues reportedly attempted to dissuade him from further violence, he allegedly persisted in verbally abusing her, even resorting to derogatory language, as he drove away from the scene.

In her words;

“One thing I hate is Drama but today I was involved in a clash with @PoliceNG @HQNigerianArmy this man right here skipped the queue rudely and I decided to ask the attendant why he would allow another person to buy fuel instead of the people of queue and the man faced me to keep Quiet that they are already selling fuel in his car.”

“I told him I wasn’t talking to him that I was talking to the fuel attendant. I faced the fuel attendant to ask him again why he’ll skip everyone else to sell fuel for someone that skipped the line and one of the perpetrators shouted at me to go and sit down that what can I do.”

I faced him to tell him not to talk to me anyhow that he should even be begging me so that he can get fuel and be done and he said why would he beg that I’m mannerless. The next thing I was punched on my chest and shoved Aside”

“He told me he’d teach me manners and I for angry and shouted at him to teach me the manners. That he won’t shut me up.”

“This man went into his car to get a taser to tase me. His colleagues were stopping him because they knew he was wrong. Then he got into his car and Called me a prostitute as he was driving off.”

“He kept on calling me a prostitute and didn’t apologize for hitting me @PoliceNG @HQNigerianArmy look at the people that are serving the nation. I’m lost of words.”
