How God saved me from instant death in Surulere – Pastor Adeboye (VIDEO)

Pastor Adeboye's captivating account of his close brush with death in Surulere eloquently illustrates the spine-tingling adage: "Life and death stand only a single step apart."

The venerated Spiritual Leader, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who presides over the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has enthralled the congregation with a breathtaking account of his divine deliverance from a near-fatal car collision in the vibrant streets of Surulere, Lagos.

This revered clergyman unveiled this jaw-dropping testimony during his impassioned sermon, “Uncommon Miracles” at RCCG’s September 2023 Thanksgiving Service.

During his gripping sermon, Pastor Adeboye recounted a riveting tale of his visit to Lagos. He narrated how he had parked his vehicle in Surulere and, upon returning to it, was on the verge of unlocking the door. With the key already inserted and the door slightly ajar, he suddenly experienced an immense force pressing him against the car.

In his words, this colossal hand pinned him to the vehicle. Just as he was about to inquire about the mysterious occurrence, a speeding car zoomed around the corner, passing so close that he could feel the rush of wind against his attire.

Pastor Adeboye emphasized that had he shifted even a single centimeter backward, he might not be alive today. Despite his earnest retelling, he acknowledged that many struggle to accept the astonishing nature of this testimony.

His words;

“There are testimonies that are difficult to share. God can give you a miracle that you yourself will know: if I tell people that God did this for me, they won’t believe me. Miracles difficult to share. Genesis 21:5-7

” I came to Lagos, parked my car somewhere in Surulere. Then I finished what I wanted to do and I went to my car, about to open the door. I have already put in the key, the door was open, I just wanted to move back so that the door can open and I felt a very big hand slammed me against my car. I mean the hand flattened me against the car. I was about to say, who did that? When all of a sudden, one car came round the corner, flashed past me, so close to me that I could feel the wind on my dress. If I had moved just one centimetre back, I won’t be here today.

“But when you tell people that kind of story you know what they will say, “a hand slammed you against your car? In Surulere? Is it during the day or night? Are you saying God came down from Heaven and with his mighty hand protected you from instant death? Or may be some angels are walking about?” They are telling you, “Sir, we don’t believe you.”
