Despite being warned that he wouldn’t survive a day, he fearlessly embarked on a culinary adventure that left him thoroughly impressed.

The adventure began with a classic combination of bread and butter, as he explained that Nigerians have a penchant for white bread, often pairing it with various ingredients to create unique flavors.
@authentic_traveling didn’t shy away from trying something more exotic, as he sampled pepper chicken feet, acknowledging their chewy texture and the fiery kick that accompanies them.
To maintain his energy levels, he opted for fearless, his favorite Nigerian energy drink, and paired it with a popular snack called gala, a packaged pastry filled with beef.
He pointed out that while gala can be somewhat dry, it becomes immensely satisfying when consumed with pure water, an affordable and refreshing option available in convenient water sachets.
@authentic_traveling also interacted with the local “area boys,” notorious for sometimes soliciting money from passersby, by sharing a few naira with them.
