- According to the now viral story, the man sold all his properties and proceeded to the UK with his kids in a bid to reconnect with his wife who relocated a year earlier.

A Nigerian woman has allegedly asked her husband for a divorce at a UK airport after taking their kids from him.
Reports say the man landed in the UK with their children as dependents in order to reunite with his wife, whom he financed. The wife had relocated a year before for her studies.
The husband of the lady in question was said to have sold all he owned in Nigeria to join his wife abroad, only to be discarded at the airport.
Picking them up at the UK airport, the woman requested to see their children’s passports. The man unsuspectingly went on to hand them over to her without question.
The lady then told him that their marriage was over and she no longer wanted anything to do with him. The woman went on to take their children while leaving her husband at the airport.
Following the report, a letter from the United Kingdom’s Home Office in which the man was informed that his student dependency permit has been cancelled and ends on January 1, 2024 has gone viral. See below:
In other news, Nigerians have called for the release of over sixty students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU that were reportedly arrested in their hostel around 1am on Wednesday, 1st of November 2023.
The claim was made by a netizen identified as @SonayanAjose on X platform, formerly known as Twitter.
He notified the public that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) illegally raided the private hostels in Ife, Osun state and arrested over sixty students.
The Netizen also added that the officials raided from one hostel to another another around 1:30am to 4am with no search warrant, forcefully entering the rooms of hostel occupants and assaulting students.
