- Pastor Adeboye remained resolute, he Initially intended to just fast for 10 days, but however surpassed his initial plan because he was moved by a deep conviction about the spiritual importance of his fast
Pastor Adeboye, a renowned servant of God, astounded the world with his recent admission of a remarkable feat accomplished at the age of 80.
Pastor Adeboye revealed he had embarked on a journey of fasting for an extraordinary period of 40 days and 40 nights.
During a sermon, he disclosed to his congregation that a great deal of people had discouraged him regarding it. They had informed him that he was far too old to be fasting, possibly out of concern for potential health issues. They had even assured him that, should he choose not to fast, God would totally understand.
Still, Pastor Adeboye had not wavered in his resolve, motivated by a strong belief in the spiritual value of his fast. He had only intended to fast for ten days to test the waters, but he went above and beyond.
During this time, he claimed that he suffered from leg problems, prompting him to switch to an armchair while teaching and preaching two years ago. However, in his most recent sermon, he proudly displayed his restored health, standing strong in front of the congregation.
Pastor Adeboye emphasized in his message that fasting is not limited by age but rather by spiritual intent. He encouraged believers of all ages to fast when they felt spiritually impelled to do so.
In another news, Pastor Adeboye reacts to allegations of getting his powers from demons
During his sermon on Sunday, July 16th, the prominent clergyman addressed reports circulating that claimed his powers were derived from demons in Redemption Camp.
Rather than engaging in a blatant response, Pastor Adeboye chose to take a different approach. He stated that he decided to pray for the individual behind the allegations because he believed he/she had committed an unforgivable sin.
The pastor explained that when someone attributes the powers and glory that rightfully belong to God to demons, they have committed a grave offence.
