- According to Aisha Yesufu, Nigerians may not be prepared for what is about to unfold
- Aisha stated that there is a steaming anger fueled by the impunity of the corrupt politicians
Renowned activist Aisha Yesufu has shed light on a potential uprising that seems to be unfolding.
In a recent tweet, Aisha Yesufu fervently expressed her concerns about the prevailing issues faced by the Nigeria, demanding justice and accountability.
With fresh memories of the historic EndSARS protests still echoing in the hearts of many, Aisha voiced her belief that another determined movement is on the brink of emerging.
Recall that 2020, Nigerian youth embarked on a nationwide protest, #EndSARS.
The slogan called for the dismantling of the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police.
Many young Nigerians lost their lives as a result of the protest, which started on Twitter and spread to the country’s major cities.
In recent time, as citizens grow increasingly frustrated with the current state of affairs, the stage is set for a potentially groundbreaking protest that could demand sweeping changes in the country.
According to Aisha Yesufu, a protesting campaigner, Nigerians might not be ready for what is about to happen.
She wrote on X:
“Nobody saw the #EndSARS protest coming. Nobody will see the next uprising coming”.
“Sadly, it might end up being violent. There is a simmering anger fueled by the impunity and brazenness of the corrupt politicians and rulers who have rigged their way into power. Nobody will be spared.”
