Osun woman refuses free surgery to remove huge Goitre, requests N300K instead -VIDEO

Mrs Folakemi insisted on getting N300K cash rather than undergoing a surgery to remove her huge goitre

Mrs. Folakemi from Ede local government in Osun State recently became a focal point of online discussions due to a surprising decision that left netizens in awe.

Afflicted by a huge goitre, her situation took a favourable turn when a charitable offer of free medical services presented itself.

Having previously sought medical assistance to alleviate her suffering, Mrs. Folakemi was presented with an opportunity for cost-free surgery by a team of doctors. Contrary to expectations, she declined the medical offer and instead requested the monetary contributions that had been raised on her behalf.

Despite efforts from the non-governmental organization (NGO) to persuade her otherwise, Mrs. Folakemi remained firm in her decision, opting to take the N300,000 contributed on her behalf before returning to the village.
