- This dramatic twist comes on the heels of Dammy publicly airing her grievances against the pastor, accusing him of posing a threat to her life following their fallout over her ambitious cook-a-thon endeavor.
Recent reports reveal that Nigerian Chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy is now in custody under the police AIG zone in Akure following a petition filed against her by her pastor, the founder of Spirit Word Global Mission, Pastor Adegoke Jeremiah.
This development follows Dammy’s earlier chilling disclosure about the pastor who sponsored her cook-a-thon competition a few months back. Chef Dammy expressed concern for her safety, holding her pastor accountable for any untoward incidents.
On the night of October 19, 2023, Chef Dammy sent shockwaves across her page, inducing fear and panic as she revealed that her life was hanging in the balance.
She expressed living in constant fear, revealing a recent near-death experience. She shared how the “man of God” had threatened, cursed, and insulted her for months following her cook-a-thon.
In a tweet sighted online by user Yemie Fash, he revealed that the chef had been apprehended by the police.
Ringing the alarm bells, he emphasized that the particular police station known for its dubious history had taken Dammy into custody. With a fervent plea, he called upon Dammy’s family to speak out and pursue justice for the young chef.
The Twitter user wrote;
“I have information that Chef Dammy has been arrested by men of the @PoliceNG
AIG zone 17 in Akure for a petition against her by her pastor, that police station has a history of extremely corrupt practices and I am speaking from personal experience. I urge the families of Chef Dammy to speak out in case the right of Dammy is abused at any point.”
