A Nigerian preacher’s sermon has sparked significant online reactions as he cautions his fellow Christians against embracing the upcoming love-centric occasion, Valentine’s Day, slated for Wednesday, February 14th.
Delivering his message in a video recorded during a street preaching session, the man voiced his concern that Valentine’s Day festivities are not for Christians, describing it as a day for “runs girls.”
He urged members of the Christian community to refrain from participating in such.
Dressed in a stripe red shirt paired with black trousers, the man underscored his belief that spending time with someone outside of a legal union is morally improper, likening it to theft and sinfulness.
He emphatically stated:
“Don’t do Valentine, Valentine is not for Christians, it is for Olosho. If you carry someone who is not your wife for Valentine is a thief.”
