- The victimized student from Lead British International School, Abuja (LBIS) has bravely come forward, shedding light on the harrowing events of that ill-fated day.
- In a recent video revelation, she detailed the horrifying account of being relentlessly assaulted, cornered, and subjected to a barrage of slaps within the confines of the school’s bustling cafeteria.
Namtira Bwala, a student at Lead British International School in Abuja, has recently come forward to shed light on the distressing ordeal she endured at the hands of her classmate Maryam Hassan and her allies.
In a widely circulated video aired by TVC on April 24, 2023, Namtira recounted the disturbing events, detailing how she was misled to a secluded area of the school by Mariam, only to face relentless bullying.
Describing the experience, Namtira revealed that Mariam repeatedly slapped her without provocation, while another student named Aliya joined in the harassment.
Despite intervention attempts by adults, Namtira said Mariam and Aliya persisted in their aggressive behavior, dragged her to a corner for further interrogation and physical abuse.
She narrated;
”… that she wanted to speak to me about something, and we went topshore. when we got to the topshore, she was asking me questions, then slapping me. After that, a staff from topshore came out and asked what happened. She let us go.
“Then she took me to the cafeteria, in one corner , then started slapping me again, with Aliya.”
Namtira’s father, deeply aware of the seriousness of the situation, openly condemned both the perpetrators of the bullying and the societal acceptance of such behavior.
In a firm declaration, he made it abundantly clear that his daughter would not be returning to the same school or sharing a classroom with those responsible for the bullying.
