A Nigerian lady took to social media to express her frustration after experiencing humiliation at Hilda Baci’s restaurant when she couldn’t settle her bill.
Posting on her TikTok handle, @cyndy_pek, she recounted feeling undeserving of the embarrassment she endured.
According to her account, she had arranged to dine at Hilda Baci’s restaurant for a dinner date with her boyfriend. Accompanied by a friend while waiting for her boyfriend’s arrival, they opted to order food and commenced eating in his absence.
Their plans took a turn when they discovered the exorbitant price of a plate of rice, priced at N10k, and realised they lacked the funds as they were relying on the boyfriend, who failed to appear.
Confronted by the restaurant staff to settle the bill, she found herself subjected to harassment over the unpaid debt, leaving her deeply disgruntled.
She questioned whether this is how Hilda Baci treats her customers.
