Chaos erupts as Pastor declines to return 900k mistakenly sent to his account by church member – VIDEO

A church member's tithe attempt went hilariously awry when they accidentally sent a staggering 1 million naira instead of 100 thousand! After multiple pleas for a refund of the excess 900k, the member brought in the cops to turn up the heat, but the pastor refused to budge, claiming the surprise windfall was a divine jackpot! This has left online netizens gobsmacked, wondering why the pastor isn't practicing what they preach and taking the moral high ground, especially since they wax lyrical about integrity and honesty.

A man has taken legal action against his pastor, leading to the pastor’s arrest, over claims that the clergyman refused to reimburse him the sum of 900,000 naira after he mistakenly sent one million naira as tithe.

In a video circulating online, the aggrieved church member is seen confronting the pastor in his residence, accompanied by police officers, and directly accusing him of withholding the funds.

The congregant explained that he intended to send the pastor 100,000 naira but inadvertently transferred a million naira. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter and request a refund, the pastor staunchly maintained his position, insisting on retaining the excess amount as a gift to God.

The man was heard in the video saying;

“I brought them (Police) here because of the money I mistakenly transferred into your account. I was supposed to transfer a hundred thousand Naira, but I transferred One Million Naira, and since then, I have been asking you to refund me the Nine Hundred Thousand, and you keep (SIC) on telling me, go to God and collect your money, it’s a spiritual matter.”
