Prophet Tomi Arayomi reveals reasons behind encouraging women to stop using "babe" for husbands

Prophet Tomi Arayomi, the US-based lead pastor of RIG Global, has sparked a debate with his recent remarks on how married women should address their husbands.

During a sermon to his congregation, Prophet Arayomi expressed his belief that the common practice of calling husbands “babe” contributes to immature behavior among men.

The pastor argued that this term of endearment, while seemingly harmless, might be undermining the authority and maturity of husbands, leading them to act more like children.

He suggested that wives should instead adopt a more respectful and reverent approach, reminiscent of the way Biblical wives addressed their husbands.

Prophet Arayomi recommended that women consider using terms like “My Lord” to refer to their spouses, drawing from historical and religious contexts where such titles were commonplace.

He emphasized that this shift in language could foster a greater sense of respect and responsibility in marriages.
