Why I returned $14k mistakenly sent to me by foreign crypto trader – Nigerian man breaks silence (VIDEO)

Integrity is not defined by what we do when it is convenient or advantageous but by the choices we make when faced with ethical dilemmas that test the very essence of our character. Returning mistakenly transferred funds is a poignant illustration of this principle, showcasing the rare virtue of individuals who, guided by an unwavering commitment to truth and fairness, choose to rectify unintended errors rather than capitalize on it for personal gain. Femi, a struggling chemical engineering graduate, is a shining exemplar of this rare breed, boldly returning a whopping $14,000 that could have been a life-changing windfall. By choosing honesty over expediency, he's lighting a beacon of integrity that will illuminate his path and inspire others to follow suit. His actions are a testament to the unbreakable power of character, proving that doing the right thing is always the best bet in life's high-stakes game.

In a jaw-dropping blunder, the well-meaning foreigner, aiming to reward Femi with his giveaway prize, ended up transferring a whopping $14,000—equivalent to over N21 million—into his account by mistake!

His words;

“My name is Anjola Femi, the guy that is known as Lucky, that is the Twitter handle @muchino67.

“So I won this giveaway on Solana, $100 worth of Solana from Rafael Alvi this morning. So, what happened was that he sent it to me.

“So, when he sent it to me, he now messaged me that he mistakenly sent 100 Solana which was $14k instead of $100. So, he requested me to hold 10 and send 90 to him in which I did…”

Femi, a chemical engineering grad, said he staunchly refused to pocket the cash, cited his strong faith and principles. His bold stance was a powerful testament to Nigerian integrity, proving to the world that moral fiber runs deep in his countrymen.
