Lady goes missing after leaving Ibadan for Lagos on first day of nationwide protest
  • A Nigerian lady identified as Sonia has been reported missing after traveling from Ibadan to Lagos on August 1, 2024.
  • Sonia was reportedly last heard from around 1 p.m. on August 1, 2024, indicating she was in Ijebu Ode. 
  • Since her last message, Sonia’s phone has been switched off, and there has been no further communication.
  • Her friend, Tobi, has posted on social media requesting any information on Sonia’s whereabouts.

A Nigerian lady identified as Sonia has been reported missing by her friend, Tobi, following her departure from Ibadan to Lagos on August 1, 2024.

According to Tobi, Sonia left Lead City University in Ibadan, Oyo State, in the afternoon with plans to travel to Lagos.

Tobi stated that Sonia communicated her whereabouts around 1 p.m. that day, confirming she was in Ijebu Ode.

Since that time, Sonia has not been heard from, and her phone has been unreachable.

In a plea for assistance, Tobi took to social media platform X, urging anyone with information to come forward.

Tobi’s message read:

“My friend Sonia is missing. She boarded a bus from Lead City University going home to Lagos. She was last heard from by 1 p.m. and said she was in Ijebu Ode. Since then, we have been unable to locate her. Her phone has been switched off. PLEASE ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

In other news, A young and promising nurse identified as Omoniyi Boluwatife, tragically lost her life in a brutal attack, during which her womb was ruthlessly removed.

This horrifying incident occurred just two days after the moment of her induction into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

According to reports, Boluwatife, a graduate from Lead City University, made her way to a night club to mark the celebration of her recent induction.

However, her joyous celebration swiftly became a tragedy when she was found dead the next morning.
