Lady goes missing after leaving Ibadan for Lagos on first day of nationwide protest

A Nigerian lady identified as Sonia has been reported missing by her friend, Tobi, following her departure from Ibadan to Lagos on August 1, 2024.

According to Tobi, Sonia left Lead City University in Ibadan, Oyo State, in the afternoon with plans to travel to Lagos.

Tobi stated that Sonia communicated her whereabouts around 1 p.m. that day, confirming she was in Ijebu Ode.

Since that time, Sonia has not been heard from, and her phone has been unreachable.

In a plea for assistance, Tobi took to social media platform X, urging anyone with information to come forward.

Tobi’s message read:

“My friend Sonia is missing. She boarded a bus from Lead City University going home to Lagos. She was last heard from by 1 p.m. and said she was in Ijebu Ode. Since then, we have been unable to locate her. Her phone has been switched off. PLEASE ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
