An 18-year-old Oyinbo lady, who had been tirelessly searching for her Nigerian father, has reportedly found and reunited with him.

The 18-year-old, born to a Filipino mother and a Nigerian father, had long expressed a deep desire to reconnect with her father, Paschal Ogbuagu Nnanna, who hails from Enugu State, Nigeria.

According to reports by Within Nigeria, the father left the Philippines shortly after her birth due to circumstances that made contact difficult for years.

The search for her father gained massive attention after media personality Chude Nnamdi highlighted her story, on his microblogging page, X.

In a recent update, Chude revealed that the search had finally yielded results, and the young lady has been reunited with her father.

He noted that the situation was complicated, with claims emerging that her Filipino mother had deliberately prevented the father from maintaining contact with his daughter from a young age.

Chude expressed gratitude to everyone who assisted in the search, sharing a screenshot of his conversation with the young woman

“We have found the father…   so many stories and complications, the Philippinain Mom prevented him from seeing and speaking with the child since she was little. I wish him and his child all the best! Thank you everyone who helped!” he wrote.
