- As the dawn of a new football season beckons, the fate of Victor Osimhen hangs in the balance, with Europe’s elite clubs vying for his signature.
- Chelsea, among the prominent suitors, is eager to secure the Super Eagles’ star.
- Yet, amid the buzz, Primate Ayodele issues a chilling prophecy: a dire warning that such a move could spell catastrophe for Osimhen’s career.
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the commanding voice of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has sounded a dire warning for Victor Osimhen: steer clear of Chelsea’s tempting offer this summer.
As the clock ticks down on the transfer window, speculation mounts that the Nigerian sensation is set to leave Napoli, with the Blues positioning themselves as frontrunners, even dangling two players to sweeten the deal.
With Napoli remaining adamant Osimhen will not be at the club for the 2024/25 season, Chelsea have hope a deal can be agreed. The latest stance from the Italian club is that they are willing to sanction his exit in a player plus cash deal involving Romelu Lukaku.
But in a video posted on ESPN’s X account, Primate Ayodele delivers a stark prophecy, said should Osimhen take the plunge and join Chelsea, his brilliance will be dimmed, and his star will fail to rise in the Premier League’s ruthless arena.
The spiritual leader’s ominous words suggest that the move could shackle Osimhen’s potential and snuff out the spark that has made him one of football’s most coveted talents.
His words:
“I want to quickly advise as directed, that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career.
“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to win the World Cup and Nations Cup.”
