In a recent Instagram post, gossip blogger Cutie Juls revisited a feud that erupted in April between Nollywood actresses Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli, giving details on the drama.
The feud began after Omoni Oboli who is not on good terms with Ruth called Eronini Osinachim to work for him which eventually led to Ruth Kadiri putting up a cryptic social media post
She had written: “IF YOU KNOW YOU’RE ONE OF THOSE BUYING VIEWS ON YOUTUBE! STOP CALLING MY ARTIST!!! I WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU DESTROY! ONCE THEY APPEAR ON YOUR CHANNEL THEIR RPMS BECOME MESSED UP! I WILL NOT WARN YOU AGAIN! IF YOU CANNOT GROW ORGANICALLY, GROOM YOUR OWN CASTS. THANKS.”
In response, Omoni Oboli posted a Bible verse that seemed to be directed at Ruth. Her post read: “Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded!”
The conflict stemmed from Omoni Oboli’s attempt to recruit Eronini, whom Ruth Kadiri had discovered and nurtured. Rumors spread that Ruth was upset by this move, leading her to block Eronini on WhatsApp temporarily. Although they have since reconciled, the tension resurfaced when Omoni reportedly tried to hire another of Ruth’s discoveries, Chidi Dikeh, who declined the offer.
According to Cutie Juls, Ruth is known for being protective of her protégés, wanting them to avoid working with certain individuals, especially those who played politics against her when she entered the industry. Omoni Oboli is suggested to be one of those individuals, fueling ongoing tension between the two actresses.

It’s Because of Eronini. So Eroni is one of Ruth’s movies in the industry.
Everybody knows Ruth does not hijack other people’s babies. She discovers them, nurture them and cast them. It’s also rumoured she also pays them very well.
So it turned out Aunty Omoni called Eronini for job and some gossips went on behind closed door. It was really intense. Ruth even took Eronini off her WhatsApp because of this and blocked him [Ruth and her baby, Eronini have settled now]
Now fast forward, I heard Aunty Omoni has done it again. She called Chidi D!keh but Chid! has declined the job.
It’s not like Ruth only wants her babies to do only her job. She is just doesn’t want them working for some specific people especially those females that showed lager shege when she entered the industry and those that do politics behind her.
And apparently Omoni is one of them. Hmmm Nollywood.”
