In a series of alarming social media posts, gossip blogger, Cutie Juls accused comedian, Carter Efe of domestic violence against his wife.
Cutie Juls raged, urging Carter Efe to report himself at the nearest police station immediately after manhandling his wife to the point that she collapsed.
According to Juls, the incident took place in Penek Estate, and Carter Efe is reportedly withholding his wife’s phone, potentially to control the narrative or prevent her from seeking help.
The situation has been escalated to the Nigerian Police Force, with Juls tagging various authorities and demanding urgent action from the Ogombo police station to arrest Carter Efe.
She highlighted that domestic violence and assault are illegal, expressing frustration over the lack of immediate intervention by the police.
Furthermore, Cutie Juls reported that this is not the first instance of such abuse, alleging a history of violence in Efe’s marriage.
Cutie Juls further stated that security personnel in Efe’s estate allegedly confirmed that beating his wife is a regular occurrence. However, they are reluctant to provide witness statements to the police, fearing repercussions from the victim, who reportedly tends to protect her husband despite the abuse.
The blogger expressed deep concern for the victim’s safety, fearing that if the violence continues unchecked, it could eventually lead to more severe consequences.
