  • Pastor Lazarus Mouka warned church members against using fraudulent money for offerings, emphasizing the importance of ethical contributions to God’s work
  • During a revival event, Mouka highlighted that wealth obtained through dishonesty is tainted and should not be offered to God

Pastor Lazarus Mouka of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Ministries has cautioned members against bringing fraudulent or ill-gotten money as offerings or donations to the church.

Speaking at a two-day revival held at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, Mouka emphasized that wealth acquired through dishonest means should not be used to support the church’s work.

The event, titled “Wonderful Move of God as of Old,” aimed to renew believers’ faith and demonstrate God’s enduring power.

The revival, which began on Saturday, featured testimonies, deliverance sessions, and prayers. It concluded on Sunday with great celebration.

During his message, Pastor Mouka reminded the congregation that money obtained through unethical means remains tainted and should not be offered to God. He highlighted the dangers of greed, warning that pursuing wealth through wrongful actions offends God and must not be brought into His house.

“Don’t bring God’s wrath by defiling His temple with fraudulent wealth. It is an abomination to the Lord,” Mouka said. “Instead, seek repentance, make restitution, and be saved before it’s too late.”

Earlier at the event, Udoka Amakaeze, a former inmate, shared his testimony of being released from Badagry Correctional Centre after turning his life around. He credited the Lord’s Chosen Prison Outreach for his repentance, saying that his legal case took a divine turn after his spiritual transformation, and he was freed.
