- A recently dismissed Nigerian female soldier has continued to send shockwaves across social media with a powerful outburst aimed at the very superior officers who allegedly mistreated her during her time in service.
- With a courageous voice that echoes the frustrations of many, she sets her sights on the Chief of Defence Staff, accusing him not just of misconduct but of engaging in illicit relationships with multiple women in the army.
Private Ruth Ogunleye, a fiercely indignant former soldier, has burst into the public eye with a shocking exposé against the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gwabin Musa OFR, igniting outrage and drawing attention to the unsettling realities faced by women in the military.
Ogunleye recently shot into the limelight after making damning claims on her social media accounts and during interviews, alleging that Colonel I.B. Abdulkareem, Colonel G.S. Ogor, and Brigadier General I.B. Solebo orchestrated a campaign of terror against her, making her military career a living nightmare.
She specifically targets Colonel Abdulkareem, accusing him of making relentless attempts to assault her and going so far as to administer injections without her consent and raping her brutally.
She detailed how he forcibly removed her from her home and confined her to a psychiatric hospital for several months after she rejected his sexual advances.
Taking her fight public, Ogunleye intensified her outcry by addressing the Chief of Defence Staff directly on her official TikTok page.
She dared General Gwabin Musa to conduct an open investigation into her alleged rape saga, unleashing a barrage of accusations against him as well.
Ruth boldly asserts that he, too, is no saint and has been embroiled in a scandal of his own, allegedly engaging in sexual relations with other female colleagues who confided in her about his misconduct.
In a powerful display of defiance, Ogunleye shared alleged personal messages exchanged with General Musa.
She challenged the narrative he spun, which suggested he cared about her plight. According to her, General Musa never once demonstrated even a semblance of compassion during the peak of her trauma.
