My Ex-Boyfriend had me arrested for breaking up with him – Lady lashes out in viral video

In sharing her story, the woman has ignited a broader conversation about the dynamics of power and control in relationships, the emotional toll of toxic partnerships, and the societal structures that enable such behaviors.

  • A Nigerian woman has revealed a shocking ordeal after ending her toxic relationship, claiming her ex-boyfriend orchestrated her arrest as revenge.
  • She described the relationship as emotionally draining and said she decided to walk away for her peace and well-being.
  • Her decision allegedly triggered her ex’s bruised ego, led him to use police authority to humiliate and detain her for hours.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her frustration and disbelief after her boyfriend allegedly orchestrated her arrest in a shocking reaction to their breakup.

In a video posted on TikTok, the woman described how a simple decision to end a toxic relationship escalated into a nightmare that left her humiliated and shaken.

She explained that she informed her boyfriend she was no longer interested in continuing their relationship, hoping for a mature and peaceful resolution. However, instead of respecting her decision, he allegedly retaliated by dragging her to a police station.

This, according to her, marked her first-ever experience with law enforcement, a reality she never imagined for simply choosing to leave a relationship.

In the video, she recounted: “You people in toxic relationships, if you tell your partner you’re not doing again, he’ll arrest you?”

She continued, “Immediately you tell your partner you’re not doing again, you find yourself at the police station? I’ve never been in a toxic relationship, never been to a police station before, but trust me, I was arrested and taken to the station just because I wasn’t interested anymore.”

The lady recounted her time at the station as deeply distressing, emphasizing the emotional toll of being treated like a criminal for asserting her autonomy.

She revealed that the relationship had been fraught with toxicity and emotional strain, and she had finally reached a breaking point.

Her ex-boyfriend’s alleged reaction, she said, demonstrated the extremes some individuals will go to in a desperate bid to maintain control or inflict harm on their partners who dare to walk away.
