Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed popularly called Bella Shmurda, have given Nigerians something to talk about after his grammatical blunder at the 14th edition of the prestigious The Headies award on Sunday.

The Cash App singer, dropped one of the highlights from the Headies Award on Sunday night after his grammatical blunder.

The virtual event held in Lagos witnessed fast-rising singers like Fireboy DML scoop the Best R&B Album and the Best Pop awards, Bad Boy Timz – Rookie of the Year award while Omah Lay went away with the Next Rated award.

Popular singer Shmurda was asked by the red carpet host how he feels being nominated in the ”Next Rated” category.

However, Bella Shmurda in response said,

”I came here to chill..you know. I came here to do my thing. I didn’t came here for the award. I just came here to vibe”he said

Meanwhile, the 14th edition of The Headies, a Nigerian music awards show, held Sunday at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The red carpet began at 5pm while the main event commenced at 8 pm.

However, the year-in-review is between July 2019 and September 2020.

This year saw winners in new categories, Songwriter of The Year and Best Alternative Album.
