Update: Jealous husband who strangled wife to death and drank poisonous substance dies in Suleja hospital

Jealous husband, Adeniyi Jose, who strangled his wife, Chidinma Gloria Ibeh, to death in Suleja, Niger state, has also died from complications after he consumed a poisonous substance.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Adeniyi strangled his wife with a rope and also suffocated her with a pillow to death over allegations of infidelity.

It was gathered that afterwards, he consumed a poisonous substance said to be sniper and rushed to Suleja General Hospital.

According to LIB, an insider that Adeniyi did not survive from the damage done by the consumption of the poisonous substance.

The insider also said Adeniyi’s suspicion that his wife was unfaithful had no basis.

“Gloria never cheated on her husband. People should stop saying what they don’t know,” the source told LIB.

They added that Mr Adeniyi has always been a jealous husband and picked fights with his wife whenever he saw her talking to any man.

The wife was reportedly the breadwinner of the family as Adeniyi didn’t have a job.

The couple, who married in 2014, leave behind a son.
