A footage showing the moment unknown gunmen attacked the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah, has emerged.
WITHIN NIGERIA learned that Ubah was attacked on Sunday along Enugwu-Ukwu road in Anambra State. Heavily armed gunmen ambushed the lawmaker’s convoy and opened fire on his cars.
An eyewitness to the incident said that the Ubah managed to escape although he might have been hurt from the attack by the gunmen.
It was reported that some of his aides were killed in the attack, including some police officers.
A video of the attack on the convoy has also surfaced online, the viral footages showed no less than three persons including a security detail soaked in blood and looking lifeless.
