Viral 18-Year-Old Lagos Bus Conductor who won chess contest finally meets Billionaire Tony Elumelu

More luck has smiled on the teen bus conductor, Adeoye Fawaz, who won a chess championship convened by Tunde Onakoya, a coach and founder of Chess in Slums Africa.

Many months ago, Adeoye Fawaz, was homeless in Lagos as he sought shelter under Oshodi bridge with a dim hope.

After winning a chess competition, he became so popular and people got interested in his story of survival.

In a Twitter post by Tunde on Saturday, November 26, he shared a photo of the boy with Nigerian Billionaire Tony Elumelu.

Tunde wrote;

“Just about a year ago, Fawaz was a bus conductor living under oshodi bridge, today he got to hang out with one of the coolest billionaires in the world. This is what dreams are made of”

Elumelu, a multi-billionaire and philanthropist, also tweeted about his excitement to finally host the chess gurus at the Heirs Holdings team bonding event.

He wrote, “It was great to finally host @Tunde_OD and his brilliant protégés at the @Heirs_Holdings team bonding event. I am very impressed by what he does through @chessinslums. Keep it up!”
