Anambra: 15-yrs-old UTME candidate becomes youngest highest-scorer in Mathematics with 99 marks

History was once again made in Anambra state as a Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME  candidate has scored 99 in Mathematics at the age of 15 in the recently released 2023 result.

According to our investigation, Lotanna Azuokeke has broken the UTME record by becoming the youngest candidate to score such mark in Mathematics.

Though some other candidates like Egoagwuagwu Agnes Madwafokwa, (17 years) and Owati Oluwasemilore(16 years) of 2020 and 2022 respectively scored 99 in Mathematics, Lotanna was much younger than the duo.

According to available information, Lotanna pulled a total score of 337 in the recently released result.

The breakdown of the scores shows English:64, Mathematics: 99, Physics: 86, Chemistry: 88, totalling 337.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that he applied to study Electrical Engineering in the next University admission at University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu state.

Lotanna hails from Oba in Anambra state and a student of Bishop Otubelu Juniorate, Trans Ekulu, Enugu State.
