As the battle against COVID-19 continues, Nigeria has recorded 341 new cases of the deadly virus in 20 states and the federal capital territory, Abuja.
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its daily update on Saturday, February 27, 2021.
According to the centre, Lagos recorded 96 new cases, the highest for the day.
Other states with new cases include Rivers-41, Kaduna-33, Edo-21, Osun-20, Akwa Ibom-17, FCT-17, Ondo-15, Gombe-11, Kano-11, Imo-10, Ekiti-9, Kebbi-9, Kwara-8, Oyo-8, Borno-6, Enugu-3, Plateau-3, Delta-1, Niger-1 and Ogun-1.
The agency also disclosed that they were 319 community recoveries in Lagos State, 121 in Kaduna State, and 38 in Rivers State
Nigeria now has a total of 155,417confirmed cases 133,256 patients have been discharged so far with 1,905 deaths recorded.
